How We Connected
History
I joined a worldwide Bible study for Christian entrepreneurs. There was a guy in my group, Preston, who lives in Georgia and mentioned that he had been funding a group of 30 orphans and widows in Uganda. At the time they were sleeping on the floor in a rented building, but desired their own building so they could save money on rent and have a more comfortable space for the children.
God put it in my heart to reach out to Preston and get more information on what he was doing.
At first, I was very skeptical because his communication from the last two years had been through WhatsApp and only videos and picture communication. through God's grace I was able to provide.
My Faith
Orphanage Built
I asked for a blueprint and breakdown of materials and time period needed. They would be able to build the orphanage in 6 months and would accept monthly payments. I sent in the first payment and after a month got back pictures of the foundation being built.
I sent in the next dollar amount and got pictures back as they completed the second stage. This continued for 6 months until it was built.
Then they needed beds and toilets, which
